The JPII Counseling department recently hosted two JPII Alumni Panel programs. The first event focused on the junior college search process.
Juniors heard from recent JPII graduates who explained their college search experiences and answered questions from curious juniors who are just beginning the process for themselves. Alumni panelists included Devon LeCave ‘19 (University of Dayton), Joe Kniery ‘19 (University of Cincinnati), Dominic Pianto ‘19 (Furman University), Kathleen McLeod ‘19 (St. Mary’s College), Savannah Smith ‘18 (Saint Louis University), and Miles Robinson ‘18 (Belmont University). After the discussion, these and other JPII alumni enjoyed lunch and fellowship together.
The second event was for seniors. They heard from alumni on the realities of transitioning to life on different types of college campuses, getting involved in campus life, and managing college courses. Alumni panelists included Elise Hackett ‘16 (Berry College), Ashley Phillips ‘17 (University of Cincinnati), Grace Singer ‘17 (Emory University), Savannah Smith ‘18 (Saint Louis University), Michael Locke ‘16 (Oberlin College and Conservatory), and JP Quiampang ‘18 (Middle Tennessee State University). Once a Knight, always a Knight!
