JPII Students Earn 107 AP Scholar Awards

In the 2016-2017 school year JPII had 107 AP Scholars.  AP Scholar Awards recognize high school students who have demonstrated college-level achievement through AP courses and exams.

Forty-Seven students received the AP Scholar Award, which is granted to students with a score of three or higher on three or more AP exams. Twenty-one students received the AP Scholar with Honor Award for achieving an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP exams taken, and scores of three or higher on four or more of these exams. Thirty-five students received the AP Scholar with Distinction Award. This is granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP exams taken, and scores of three or higher on five or more of these exams.

Four students were granted the National AP Scholar Award, which is awarded to students in the United States who receive an average score of at least four on all AP exams taken, and scores of four or higher on eight or more of these exams. Please join us in congratulating our JPII National AP Scholars, Carly Holton, Abby Mysinger, Brennan Smith, and Skylar Voisin.
