We are Mr. Mike Brown, Ms. Sarah McIlroy, and Ms. Kelsey Wilson, and we’re looking forward to helping you with your academic, personal, and college counseling needs.

The mission of JPII’s school counseling department is to provide a comprehensive counseling program addressing the academic, college/career, and personal/social development of all students.  Services include individual counseling, academic support, college planning, and student and family advocacy.  Our goal is to promote a commitment to health, personal, academic, and spiritual growth, and to aid students in becoming responsible, culturally aware, and productive members of society.  Our mission and our goal will be supported and further strengthened by consultation with teachers, staff, administrators, parents, and community advocates.

Students are assigned to a primary personal counselor based on the school house system, and will receive targeted support on specific initiatives (academic advising, college counseling, wellness, etc.) from all counselors.  Please do not hesitate to call or email your primary counselor to schedule an appointment, or drop by the counseling office.
