I grew up in Chattanooga, Tennessee and attended Girls Preparatory School for 7th-12th grades. I went to Clemson University as a National Scholar and majored in Mathematical Sciences. Upon graduation in 2007, I entered a PhD program in Mathematics at the University of Maryland in College Park. There, I helped TA a Calculus class and a College Algebra class. After one year, I transferred to Vanderbilt University, where I received my Masters in Math Education in 2009.

I have been at JPII since 2009, where I have taught math and helped coach boys and girls soccer.
